Junior Excellence

These are advanced Red ball, Orange Ball, and Green Ball, and Yellow ball classes for players who would like to learn the skills it takes to participate in tournaments. Players will work towards getting all of their strokes to be technically sound for point play. Recovery, cross over, and split steps will be introduced as well as proper movements forward and backward on court. Engaging drills and games will keep the young player motivated, confident, and ready to be challenged.

Ages 5-7

This is an advanced class for players who would like to learn the skills it takes to participate in tournaments.

Orange Ball

Ages 8-10

This advanced class is perfect for players looking to begin competing in Beginner and Intermediate 10 and under tournaments.

Green Ball

Ages 10-12

This is an advanced class created for pre-teen players motivated to gain success in 12 and under Beginner and Intermediate tournaments.

11 & Under Performance

Ages 7-11

High Performance Yellow ball group for the best 11 & under players in the program.

Premier & Elite Performance

Ages 10-18

This is an advanced class for tournament players who are looking to improve their current UTR rating or PNW ranking.

Premier: 2-4 UTR

Elite: 4-6 UTR

 

Junior Excellence Pathway

NWHPT

This focused and highly challenging program is best suited for players motivated by a long term goal of becoming a top ranked Division I collegiate player, or have aspirations of becoming a professional player. Participants must meet the ranking criteria listed below to be accepted into this program. Players in this group are encouraged to spend up to 5 hours on court per day, 5-6 days per week, along with 4-6 hours of tennis specific fitness training per week. Players in this group will strengthen their ability to anticipate the type of ball that is coming off of their opponent’s strings, as well improve defensive, offensive and neutralizing skills through structured match play. A variety of drills will be tailored to each player to improve their specific weaknesses as no two players are exactly alike.

Sectional

UTR 6 - 7.99

This high intensity training program is created for players who have already experienced some success in tournament play, and are craving to have the opportunity to further propel themselves up the Advanced rankings.

National

UTR 8 - 9.99

This focused and highly challenging program is best suited for players motivated by a long term goal of becoming a top ranked Division I collegiate player, or have aspirations of becoming a professional player.

International

UTR 10 & Up

This focused and highly challenging program is best suited for players motivated by a long term goal of becoming a top ranked Division I collegiate player, or have aspirations of becoming a professional player.
