Dr. D'Anthony Smith, Ed.D.
D'Anthony played nose tackle in the National Football League (NFL). He was a third round draft pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2010. During his 6 year playing career, in addition to Jacksonville, D'Anthony played for the Seattle Seahawks, Detroit Lions, and Chicago Bears. D'Anthony was a member of the Seahawks' 2013 Super Bowl winning team.
As a Mental Performance Coach, D'Anthony cultivates a full range of developmental pathways that support a player's overall performance. Providing an environment that influences optimal performance development, D'Anthony aids in the addressing of a player's perspective on their past, present, and future goals. In addition to his Doctorate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, D'Anthony's experience as a professional athlete allows him to understand what players, with whom he is working, are experiencing while implementing the most effective measures to address an issue. Regardless of a player's level of competition, D'Anthony's background as an athlete allows him to relate to them and foster lasting and meaningful relationships with the player.
